Freelance PCB Design Engineer (OrCAD)

Job Title: Freelance PCB Design Engineer (OrCAD)

Job Type: Freelance

We are seeking an experienced Freelance PCB Design Engineer with solid expertise in OrCAD PCB Designer to design high-quality printed circuit boards for electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design PCB layouts using OrCAD PCB Designer.
- Create and modify schematics using OrCAD Capture.
- Generate PCB fabrication files (Gerber, Drill, ODB++, BOM, Pick & Place).
- Ensure designs comply with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
- Perform PCB design rule checks (DRC) and resolve layout issues.
- Collaborate with hardware and mechanical engineers to optimize PCB performance.
- Support prototype testing and implement design improvements.
- Maintain proper documentation and design files.





Required Skills:
- Proficiency in OrCAD Capture and OrCAD PCB Designer.
- Experience with multilayer PCB layout.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC design practices.
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with high-speed, analog, and digital circuit design.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of PCB design experience.

Deliverables:
- PCB layout files.
- Gerber files.
- Drill files.
- Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Pick-and-Place files.
- Assembly drawings.
- Design documentation.
