Overview

The Reporting & Insights Analyst will support the Manager, Performance & Insights in providing reporting insights to the RS business. The role includes planning, performance measurement and management of data to enable the leadership team meet business objectives. A subject matter expert with data visualization tools and techniques, Solid analytical skills and a keen attention to detail is desirable.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

- Support the management and identification of risk through data insights.

- Support the business in developing and delivering strategy by providing actioned-based insight by interpreting data and making appropriate recommendations.

- Analyze data into actionable insight, identify trends, and create dashboards and reports.

- Optimizing and automate reporting processes for better efficiency.

Operational Management

- Deliver end to end processes and systems to measure, manage and optimise the performance of the business.

- Ensure the qualitative and quantitative requirements of data and infrastructure are established, delivered, maintained, and reviewed to assure accurate and timely delivery of solutions and outputs.

- Deliver high quality, accurate insights and recommendations of performance opportunities or challenges and support fact-based decision making through use of ‘measures’ of the system.





- Deliver & maintain KPI reporting across the business.

- Provision of data to support budget planning & tracking processes.

- Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.

- Respond to ad-hoc report requests, providing timely and relevant insights.

- Role model in managing risk and compliance focused culture across the team.

- 100% compliance with own learning requirements.

- Role model MUFG values & actively contribute to the Business Enablement function and the broader RS team.

Experience & Personal Attributes

Experience

- Overall 8+ years’ experience into Data domain with exposure to various reporting and analytical roles (data analysis, interpretation, and deployment).

- Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and Python/SQL are required.

- Excellent experience both building reports and dashboards and providing user training.

- Strong stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated strategic thinking, with ability to link insights to business objectives.

- Advanced Microsoft Office user

- Confident communicator and report presentation skills.
