Job Overview:
The Relationship Manager for Wealth Management (HNI) will be
responsible for managing a portfolio of high -net -worth individuals (HNI),
providing them with comprehensive financial advice, solutions, and services
tailored to their specific needs. This role requires an individual with robust
relationship -building skills, extensive knowledge of wealth management products
and services, and the ability to offer personalized investment strategies and
solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client
Relationship Management:
- Develop
and maintain strong, long -term relationships with existing and
prospective HNI clients.
- Regularly
meet clients to understand their financial goals, objectives, and risk
tolerance.
- Serve
as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional
customer service and personalized solutions.
- Ensure
high levels of client satisfaction and retention through continuous
engagement and timely follow -ups.
- Financial
Advisory & Planning:
- Provide
bespoke financial planning and advisory services to HNI clients,
including investment, estate planning, tax strategies, and retirement
planning.
- Advise
clients on a wide range of wealth management products including equities,
fixed income, alternative investments, mutual funds, insurance, and more.
- Regularly
review and assess client portfolios, providing tailored investment
strategies to align with their evolving financial goals.
- Investment
& Portfolio Management:
- Monitor
and analyze clients' portfolios to ensure they align with their financial
objectives.
- Recommend
appropriate investment opportunities and adjustments based on market
trends, economic factors, and individual preferences.
- Collaborate
with internal teams (research, trading, product specialists) to provide
clients with cutting -edge solutions.
- Business
Development & Acquisition:
- Identify
new business opportunities within the HNI segment through networking,
referrals, and other channels.
- Proactively
seek to expand the client base while maintaining existing relationships.
- Organize
and attend client events, seminars, and webinars to promote wealth
management products and services.
- Cross -functional
Collaboration:
- Work
closely with internal teams such as Investment Research, Private Banking,
Estate Planning, and Risk Management to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Collaborate
with senior management to ensure the business unit achieves revenue and
growth targets.
- Compliance
& Risk Management:
- Ensure
all client transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal
policies.
- Understand
and adhere to the compliance, risk, and audit protocols related to wealth
management products.
- Identify
potential risks in client portfolios and take appropriate action to
mitigate those risks.
- Market
Analysis & Reporting:
- Stay
updated on market trends, investment opportunities, and global economic
factors affecting wealth management.
- Provide
clients with regular updates on market conditions, portfolio performance,
and new financial products.
- Prepare
detailed reports and presentations for clients on portfolio performance
and proposed changes.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s
degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's
degree or relevant certifications like CFA, CFP, or CWM is preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum
9+ years of experience in wealth management or private banking,
specifically dealing with HNI clients.
- Strong
understanding of investment products, financial markets, and portfolio
management.
- Proven
track record in managing and growing relationships with high -net -worth
individuals.
- Key
Skills:
- Exceptional
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
analytical and financial modeling abilities.
- High
level of professionalism, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.
- Ability
to work independently and in a team environment.
- Technical
Skills:
- Proficiency
in financial planning tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity
with trading platforms and wealth management software is a plus.
