Position Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Analyst for our newly established Hyderabad Global Shared Services Office. The QA Analyst position is that of a functional test. This person will work closely with the application development manager to identify weaknesses in software. This is a start-up office,



so part of the QA Analysts responsibilities will be to help setup best practices for testing software including any automated testing the QA feels would benefit the team.

Responsibilities:

* Review design specifications to ensure understanding of project.

* Identify test requirements from specifications and design testing to ensure coverage of project.

* Develop, document and maintain test cases including data, and scripts used.

* Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.

* Identify any potential quality issues immediately report to manager.

* Isolate, replicate, and report bugs and verify bug fixes.

Desired Candidate Profile University degree

* Software Quality Certification is expected to gain education/certification.

* 4-6 years of relevant QA technical experience.

* Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.

* Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications. *Communicate with development and project management.

* Knowledge of bug tracking tool (preferably JIRA), SQL and Java preferred.

* Ability to lead and work as part of a team with good work ethics.

* Solid communication skills are required (oral and written)
