Key Responsibilities
- Perform Inward Inspection of raw materials and purchased components as per drawings and specifications.
- Conduct In-Process Inspection during production to ensure process and product quality.
- Carry out Final Inspection before product dispatch to verify dimensional and visual quality.
- Perform Outgoing Inspection to ensure products meet customer requirements.
- Measure components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers (Screw Gauges), Height Gauges, Dial Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Inward, In-Process, Final, and Outgoing Inspection:
- Proficient in Vernier Calipers, Micrometers (Screw Gauges), Height Gauges, Dial Gauges, and Bore Gauges:
- Understanding of GD&T; and quality standards
- Experience in handling inspection reports and documentation
- Good knowledge of quality inspection techniques and defect identification
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience: 1.5 to 7 years in a manufacturing quality inspection role.
