Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Develop comprehensive electrical designs for projects including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Technical Documentation: Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to electrical systems. Ensure all designs and documentation adhere to industry standards and client requirements.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule. Provide technical support during project execution, including troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:



Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations, evaluate materials and equipment, and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations. Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices to incorporate the latest technologies into designs.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise to guide them through the design and estimation process. Present design proposals and cost estimates to clients and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and estimation, preferably in a consulting or contracting workplace.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, or similar).
