Accounts Executive - Job Description

An Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and ledgers.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and vendors.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Use accounting software such as Tally ERP, Tally Prime, SAP, or Excel.

Skills Required
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Valuable communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications:
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime, GST filing, and MS Excel.
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
