Role Overview
The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for
facilitating employment opportunities for program beneficiaries by building
robust employer networks, preparing candidates for the job market, and ensuring
successful and sustainable placements. The role focuses on creating livelihood
opportunities for individuals from diverse and underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employer & Industry Engagement
- Identify
and connect with potential employers, NGOs, and social enterprises
- Develop
and maintain long-term partnerships with recruiters and companies
- Understand
job requirements and align them with candidate profiles
2. Candidate Readiness & Support
- Conduct
resume-building sessions and mock interviews
- Train
candidates in soft skills, workplace etiquette, and communication
- Assess
candidate skills and recommend suitable job roles
3. Placement Coordination
- Organize
job drives, interviews, and recruitment events
- Coordinate
interview schedules between candidates and employers
- Ensure
smooth end-to-end placement processes
4. Post-Placement Follow-up
- Track
candidate progress after placement
- Provide
support for retention and address workplace challenges
- Maintain
regular communication with both employer and candidate
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain
accurate records of placements and employer interactions
- Track
KPIs such as placement rates and retention rates
- Prepare
periodic reports for internal teams and stakeholders
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work
closely with trainers, program teams, and community mobilizers
- Support
outreach and mobilization efforts when required
- Represent
the organization in job fairs and networking events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, or
related field
- 1–3
years of experience in placement, recruitment, or livelihood programs
(preferred)
