Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to manage and control project costs across our real estate developments. The role involves preparing project budgets, monitoring expenditures, analysing variances, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the construction lifecycle. The Cost Accountant will work closely with project managers, procurement, finance, and senior management to provide accurate cost data for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:◾ Project Costing & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and cost plans for various project phases.◾ Cost Control & Monitoring: Track actual vs. budgeted costs, identify variances and identify overruns early.◾ Cash Flow Planning: Support project cash-flow forecasts based on construction schedules and payment plans.◾ Procurement & Contract Support: Analyse vendor/contractor quotations,



validate BOQs, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.◾ Profitability Analysis: Evaluate project profitability, margins per unit type and ROI for proposed developments.◾ MIS & Decision Support: Produce management reports and assist with pricing, phasing decisions, and value-engineering options.
Skills Required : - Proven experience in CMA - Good communication - Quick learner and passion for sales - Self-motivated with a result driven approach..
Salary : As per industry standards
Minimum experience: 5 years
