We are a prominent player in the luxury Gems & Jewellery retail sector, with a strong legacy and a fast-growing national footprint. The Group generates an annual turnover of over INR 5,000 Crores and is now preparing for its next major milestone — an Initial Public Offering (IPO) planned within the next 1 to 2 years. To support this high-growth and transformation journey, we are strengthening our FP&A; function with a strategic hire.

Purpose of the Role:

The Manager – FP&A; will work closely with the CFO to lead key financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and business performance analysis initiatives across the Group. The role requires a high-performing Chartered Accountant with a robust industry background and experience in FP&A; to deliver actionable insights, enable efficient decision-making, and support automation and strategic planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Business Planning

- Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process in collaboration with department heads and functional leaders.

- Ensure accuracy and consistency of assumptions, with appropriate cost controls and revenue planning.

- Prepare budget review decks, forecasts, and variance analysis presentations for senior management.





- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI tracking tools with a focus on automation and performance monitoring.

- Build and manage financial models for Cash Flow, P&L;, and Balance Sheet planning.

- Assist in tracking the Group’s 5-year strategic financial plan.

Management & Board Reporting

- Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly MIS, financial summaries, and Board-level reporting materials.

- Analyze business performance trends, identify risks/opportunities, and present financial insights to leadership.

- Provide structured and timely variance analysis with root cause understanding.

- Work on developing internal performance reports to support operational excellence.

Special Projects

- Drive and support special initiatives around reporting automation, process simplification, and business case analysis.

- Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial data into strategic insights and recommendations.

Group Financial Reporting

- Support preparation of interim and annual consolidated financials.

- Assist in accounting analysis and technical matters relevant to Group financial statements.

Risk Management





- Provide financial inputs to the Group’s risk management process for improved risk visibility and mitigation.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in core FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, MIS, or business finance roles

- Industry experience is mandatory – preferably from product-based companies such as retail, consumer goods, luxury, manufacturing, etc.

- Candidates from consulting firms will not be considered, unless from a Big Four firm with direct experience in audit or accounting

- Preference given to candidates with solid experience in corporate finance, business planning, and financial reporting

Location Preference:

- Candidates currently based in Surat will be preferred

- Outstation candidates must be willing to relocate to Surat at their own cost

- No accommodation or relocation assistance will be provided

- Compensation remains unchanged for relocating candidates

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong financial and analytical skills with hands-on expertise in Excel, reporting, and financial modeling

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with senior management

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing large datasets with strategic thinking

- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive financial discipline across the organization
