As a Junior DevOps Engineer at
SKO Systems, you will support the development and maintenance of CI/CD
pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring systems under the guidance
of senior DevOps engineers. Your primary focus will be to assist with
deployments, troubleshoot build and environment issues, and improve process
consistency and repeatability. This is a learning-focused role ideal for a
motivated engineer seeking to build a strong foundation in cloud DevOps,
automation, and infrastructure management. You will also collaborate with Data
Science and ML Ops teams to support machine learning model deployment and learn
to leverage AIOps platforms to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Essential Functions / Deliverables

· CI/CD Support – Assist in
maintaining and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines for Android, web, and backend
applications. Monitor jobs and escalate issues to senior engineers.

· Cloud Platform Assistance
(Azure/AWS) – Help in provisioning and maintaining development/staging
environments using cloud-native tools. Learn best practices in cloud
administration.

· Build Automation & Deployment
Tasks – Execute automated build and deployment scripts, monitor job status,
document steps, and contribute to improving automation coverage.

· Monitoring & Logging
(ELK/Prometheus) – Follow defined procedures to track system health, identify
anomalies, and support incident response.

· AI-Driven Automation & AIOps – Participate in the integration and maintenance of AI/ML-powered monitoring,
alerting, and incident response systems. Assist in implementing AIOps




solutions for automated root cause analysis and resource optimisation.

· MLOps Support – Collaborate with
Data Science/MLOps teams to help automate deployment and monitoring of
machine learning models.

· Troubleshooting & Ticket
Resolution – Handle first-level technical issues, including build failures,
environment connectivity issues, and deployment rollbacks under supervision.

· Documentation & SOP
Maintenance – Document new processes, run books, and routine maintenance
steps. Keep deployment and environment SOPs up to date.

· Learning & Technical Growth –
Participate in team training, pair programming, and code reviews. Attend
knowledge-sharing sessions to build expertise in DevOps tools and techniques.

· Collaboration with Dev/QA Teams –
Support cross-functional teams by helping ensure smooth code integrations and
troubleshooting feedback environments.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or
a relevant field

Fastlane (for mobile), monitoring tools (basic use)

Preferred work exposure :
Exposure to:

- Android SDK and related tools

- Mobile CI/CD tools and pipelines

- Mobile testing frameworks

- Contributions to personal or academic Android/DevOps-related
projects

Required Professional Experience : 2-4 years of experience

Technical/Computer Skills :

Scripting (Shell, Python) containerization and modern
DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
(Terraform/CloudFormation). Additionally, a basic understanding of networking
concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, and HTTP/HTTPS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Ability to follow and
improve structured procedures Fast learner, adaptable to
new tools. Proactive in resolving small issues and
escalating larger one
