To be successful as a Python/AWS developer you should have experience with:
- Strong Python engineering experience (production‑grade code)
- Good Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native architectures
- Experience with platform engineering, internal developer platforms, or shared runtime platforms
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, reliability engineering, and distributed systems
- Own and manage the Application Platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Design and implement scaling strategies for application and workloads
- Build self‑service platform capabilities for engineering and capability teams
- Operate and evolve cloud‑native platforms on AWS and On-premise Kubernetes platforms
- Build observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) into platforms by design
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
Some Other Highly Valued Skills Include
- Experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
