Job Title: Banking Operations Officer

Location: Surat, Gujarat

Salary Range: ₹7 LPA – ₹8 LPA

Job Overview

A reputed and fast-growing organization in the luxury retail sector is seeking a Banking Operations Officer to handle end-to-end banking operations, fund management, reconciliations, and loan-related financial activities.

• CA with 1+ year experience

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance with 2–5 years experience

The role requires professionals working currently or previously in the banking industry in Finance & Operations departments

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payments & Journal Entries

- Ensure timely payments for Salary, Vendor, Old Gold, Margin, WCDL, etc.

- Post daily journal entries for all receipts and payments in the Books of Accounts (BOA).

- Maintain accurate transaction trails for compliance and audits.

2. Bank Account & Fund Flow Management

- Monitor balances across Cash Credit (CC) accounts.

- Manage EMIs for card loans and corporate credit cards.

- Handle interest payments for Term Loans, WCDL, CC facilities.

- Maintain smooth fund flow to avoid penalties and ensure financial discipline.

3. Bank Coordination & Process Handling

- Coordinate with banks for approvals, queries, and documentation.

- Handle Auto-Sweep processes for efficient fund utilization.

- Manage WCDL repayments, authorized letters, and financial approvals.

4. Bank Reconciliation & Reporting





- Perform daily & monthly reconciliations across all bank accounts.

- Verify and validate all incoming and outgoing transactions.

- Prepare and share Daily Fund Reports with key stakeholders.

- Support monthly MIS and banking activity summaries.

Key Deliverables

- Accurate and timely posting of entries.

- Daily fund status reporting.

- Monthly reconciliations for all operating accounts.

- MIS reports summarizing overall banking activity.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance with 2–5 years of experience, or Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Exposure to working in the Banking Sector (Finance, Operations, Treasury, or Back-Office Processes).

Skills

- Robust knowledge of banking procedures, fund flow, payments, reconciliation.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting.
