Summary: With an increased focus on mobile technology, cloud services,
CI/CD, and Automation, we have increased our product offerings, including
PowerBI, DevOps, Docker, and Container, Cloud. To meet the technical resources
required to build, support, and secure these products 24x7, the new consultant
resource will be complementing our onshore team supporting all our existing
clients, applications, and products.

Role:

This is a systems
development, Cloud and Application administrator position on our offshore
team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for infrastructure
professionals with strong systems skills to work on a dynamic offshore team
within the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) department. Welcoming
Hosting / System Administrator to join our client’s Web Hosting Team in GTI.

GTI,
Global Technology Infrastructure, builds and supports Client global technology
infrastructure, which underpins the firm's entire technical operating
environment. This includes providing the foundation for IT's robust,
innovative solutions that provide critical services to our business partners
and that enable the firm to develop and sustain its competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

- The
position will be supporting key financial applications including
trading systems and client-facing websites. This position will report to
our Web Hosting Team Lead and will be responsible for the overall health
of the various applications that our client manages.

Application Management and
Deployment:

• Deploy,
configure, and maintain web applications on various hosting platforms.




• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal
functionality.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and
improve application scalability.

Cloud Operations:

• Manage
cloud infrastructure and services on platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions to support business needs.
• Monitor cloud resources and optimize usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and
efficiency.

Hosting Solution Development and
Engineering:

• Design and
develop hosting solutions tailored to specific project requirements.
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect hosting
environments.
• Continuously evaluate and improve hosting solutions to enhance performance
and reliability.

Programming and Development:

• Utilize C#
and Python to develop and maintain applications and scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software
solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best
practices.

Job Qualifications

The
ideal candidate should have
the following:

- Qualifications, Experience, and
Education:





Bachelor’s degree –
Computer Engineering / Computer Science/ IT Information Technology with 5+
years of experience

The candidate will need to possess strong systems development
skills as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a
highly motivated and result-oriented skilled professional who can support our
diverse clients.

- Skills:

Required
Technical Experience & Skills:

• Proficiency with at least one object-oriented
programming language

• Proficiency
with Windows or UNIX/Linux operating systems

• Proficiency
with web servers, such as IIS or Apache HTTP

• Proficiency with Internet technologies such as DNS,
SSH/SSL, and FTP

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as
Azure or AWS.

• Solid analytical and trouble-shooting skills
coupled with experience supporting production environments

• Excellent US English communication skills
including writing and technical documentation

• Highly motivated team player and diligent worker
with experience and flexibility to support our onsite and offshore teams

• Successful and consistent track record working for
a top services firm or major US-based company

Desired
Experience & Skills:

• Experience with relational databases, such as
MSSQL, Sybase, or Oracle, as well basic understanding of SQL
