Purpose of the job :

The Zonal Manager Sales will be responsible for driving network expansion, strengthening dealer performance, and ensuring sustainable business growth in alignment with organizational objectives. The role involves strategic planning, dealer management, sales performance monitoring, and market intelligence to enhance presence and market share in the electric two-wheeler segment.

Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities

1. Dealer Network Appointment & Expansion • Identify potential markets and appoint recent dealers and sub-dealers to enhance the companys retail footprint. • Conduct due diligence and evaluate dealer capabilities based on infrastructure, financial stability, and market potential. • Ensure smooth onboarding, training, and business alignment of newly appointed dealers with company policies.
2. Dealer Relationship Management • Manage existing dealer networks to ensure consistent sales growth and brand representation. • Evaluate dealer performance metrics including sales volume, customer satisfaction, and retail conversion rates. • Identify capability gaps within the dealer team and coordinate training programs to improve skills and performance.
3. Sales Promotion & Retail Activation • Plan and execute regional marketing schemes, campaigns, and promotional activities to increase showroom walk-ins and retail conversions. • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive localized promotional initiatives. • Monitor effectiveness of schemes and activities, ensuring ROI and alignment with sales targets.
4. Team Leadership & Performance Management • Lead and guide Senior Managers and Business Development Managers to achieve assigned sales and network goals. • Review and assess team performance regularly,



providing constructive feedback and development plans. • Build a motivated and performance-driven team culture through regular engagement and recognition.
5. Business Reporting & Market Intelligence • Report periodically to the Head Office on sales performance, market trends, dealer issues, and competitive activities. • Provide actionable insights on market conditions, pricing trends, and new product opportunities. • Support management in strategic decision-making through detailed data analysis and field reports.
6. Financial Governance & Compliance • Monitor receivables, dealer funding, and maintain healthy business relationships ensuring financial discipline.
