Zoho Finance & Implementation Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Zoho Finance & Implementation Specialist with robust hands-on expertise in Zoho Books / Zoho Finance and a strong background in accounting, taxation, finance operations, implementation, and client management.

The role involves managing the complete client lifecycle - from understanding business requirements and designing the right Zoho solution to implementation, training, Go-Live support, outsourced accounting, compliance, MIS, data migration, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Zoho Consulting & Implementation

- Conduct Business Requirement Studies (BRS) and understand client processes, requirements, and pain points.
- Map requirements to the most suitable Zoho products and solutions.
- Plan and execute end-to-end Zoho implementations, including configuration, workflows, automation, roles, permissions, reporting, testing, UAT, and Go-Live.
- Conduct client meetings, solution presentations, product demonstrations, and pre-sales discussions.
- Conduct Zoho training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Provide Go-Live and post-Go-Live support, troubleshooting, optimization, and client assistance.

Accounting, Compliance & MIS

- Manage/supervise 100% outsourced accounting and finance operations using Zoho Finance.
- Handle/review bookkeeping, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, journals, ledgers, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Majorly supervise GST and Income Tax compliance, with independent handling whenever required.
- Prepare and review MIS, management reports, dashboards, and financial analysis.

Data Migration

- Manage migration of historical accounting data from Tally, QuickBooks, Marg, Miracle, Xero,



and other accounting software to Zoho Finance.
- Handle data cleansing, mapping, migration, validation, and reconciliation.

Payroll

- Manage/supervise payroll processing, salary calculations, deductions, reports, and related compliance requirements.
- Work with Zoho Payroll / relevant Zoho solutions where applicable.

Team Management

- Manage both individual execution and team responsibilities.
- Supervise junior accountants and implementation executives.
- Allocate work, review deliverables, ensure quality, and resolve escalated client/operational issues.

Mandatory Requirements

- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on Zoho Books / Zoho Finance experience is mandatory
- Strong accounting and finance knowledge
- Strong understanding of GST and Income Tax
- Experience in Zoho implementation and business process mapping
- Experience in accounting software data migration and reconciliation
- Good understanding of MIS and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of payroll processing
- Strong client-facing, presentation, training, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage client engagements and multiple projects
- Ability to manage and supervise junior team members

Preferred Zoho Exposure

Zoho Finance Plus, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expense, Zoho Invoice, Zoho Billing, Zoho Analytics, Zoho CRM, Zoho People, Zoho One, Zoho Creator, or Zoho ERP will be an advantage.

What We Are Looking For A professional who can go beyond basic Zoho Books operations and independently understand business requirements, recommend solutions, implement Zoho, migrate data, train users, manage finance/compliance operations, handle clients, and lead the execution team.

Candidates without practical hands-on Zoho Books / Zoho Finance experience will not be considered.

Variable Pay: To be discussed individually based on skills, experience, implementation expertise, client handling, pre-sales contribution, and overall performance.
