Job Summary The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing attractive jewellery display presentations that enhance the customer shopping experience and strengthen brand identity. The role involves creating cutting-edge display concepts using jewellery display stands, trays, busts, risers, counters, props, packaging boxes, bags, and other merchandising elements.

The Visual

Merchandiser will collaborate with Design, Sales, Production, and Clients to deliver visually appealing retail environments and customized display solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Display Planning

- Design attractive jewellery display layouts for retail showrooms and exhibitions.
- Create display concepts for gold, diamond, silver, platinum, and fashion jewellery.
- Develop seasonal, festive, promotional, and new collection display themes.
- Plan effective placement of jewellery displays to maximize product visibility and sales.

Product Display Development

- Recommend suitable display stands, necks, trays, busts, risers, holders, watch displays, ring displays, and counter accessories.
- Coordinate with the design team for customized display solutions.
- Suggest colour combinations, materials, textures, fabrics, lighting, and finishes.

Store Merchandising

- Ensure consistent visual standards across customer stores.
- Conduct showroom visits to evaluate display effectiveness.




- Improve store presentation based on customer requirements.
- Maintain visual merchandising guidelines.

Design Coordination

- Work closely with 2D & 3D Designers.
- Review prototypes before production.
- Coordinate with Production to ensure quality execution.
- Participate in product development meetings.

Client Coordination

- Understand customer branding and display requirements.
- Present display concepts to clients.
- Assist Sales during customer presentations.
- Provide merchandising recommendations based on store size and layout.

Exhibition & Events

- Plan exhibition booth layouts.
- Arrange product displays for trade shows.
- Coordinate installation and dismantling activities.
- Ensure branding consistency during events.

Market Research

- Monitor jewellery retail trends.
- Study competitor display concepts.
- Research new materials, colours, and display innovations.
- Recommend new merchandising ideas.

Inventory & Display Assets

- Maintain display samples and merchandising inventory.
- Ensure display materials remain in excellent condition.
- Coordinate replacement of damaged display items.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design, or related field.

Experience

- 3–8 years in Visual Merchandising, Jewellery Display Design, Retail Display, Luxury Retail, Packaging, or Store Design.
