Role Description The VisionPLUS Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining VisionPLUS-based applications for financial and card management systems in a full-time capacity. This hybrid role is based in Pune City, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring and customizing VisionPLUS modules, writing and reviewing code, performing unit and integration testing, and troubleshooting production issues. The developer will collaborate closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. The role also involves preparing technical documentation,



participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong VisionPLUS development skills, including experience with card management systems, authorization, and settlement modules.
- Candidates should possess core programming skills such as COBOL or C, JCL, and experience with mainframe environments (TSO/ISPF, DB2, VSAM).
- Candidates should possess software engineering skills in requirements analysis, solution design, debugging, and unit/integration testing within SDLC or Agile frameworks.
- Candidates should possess database and data handling skills, including SQL proficiency, performance tuning, and data migration or batch processing experience.
- Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams, documenting technical solutions, and explaining complex concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in payments, banking, or financial services technology is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Pune City, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality code to agreed timelines.
