corporate governance from the ground up.

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk
Management

following up with project managers and department heads to capture new
risks, reassess existing ones, and track whether mitigation actions are

- Track compliance

donor-specific and client-specific compliance requirements. Each
engagement has its own rules; your job is to make sure the organisation
knows what they are and meets them on time.

- Contribute to
quarterly and annual compliance reports that go to Director ? CRC. These
reports should be explicit, evidence-based, and actionable.

Due
Diligence Investigations

- Support due
diligence assessments of vendors, partners, subcontractors, and
consultants by reviewing business profiles, financial health, legal
standing, and reputational risks.

- Prepare

structured due diligence reports and escalate potential risks or red flags
to the Director ? CRC prior to onboarding or contracting decisions.

- Support the
concern-reporting mechanism (whistleblower system, etc.) by logging,
tracking, coordinating, and following up on reported cases under the
guidance of the Director ? CRC.

- Assist in
preliminary fact-finding, documentation, and investigation of reported
policy breaches, ethical violations, and compliance incidents.

- Prepare
investigation summaries, maintain case records, and monitor timely closure
of corrective actions.

Policy
Implementation

- Support the
implementation and rollout of corporate policies across the organisation
and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to governance and
compliance requirements.

- Assist in
designing and delivering compliance awareness and training programmes
while maintaining training records and monitoring completion.

- Contribute to
the preparation of compliance communications, policy updates, and
awareness material on regulatory developments and internal best practices.

Operational
Governance Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as the
primary working-level coordinator between the Corporate Risk Compliance function and Finance, HR, Procurement, Administration, Legal,
and Project teams to ensure timely execution of compliance, risk, and
governance initiatives across the organisation.

- Coordinate
with internal stakeholders to obtain information, track action items,
follow up on pending deliverables, and ensure closure of compliance,
audit, due diligence, and risk-related activities. The role requires
persistent stakeholder management and hands-on coordination across
multiple functions.

- Review
contracts, vendor agreements, consultancy agreements, and other business
documents from a compliance and risk perspective. Coordinate with internal
teams to ensure contractual obligations, compliance requirements,
approvals,

and risk mitigation measures are appropriately addressed before
execution.

- Ensure that
compliance records, filings, and documentation are maintained in a way
that is organised, accessible, and audit-ready at all times.

KEY

- Analytical
Thinking ? Ability
to assess risk scenarios, identify patterns in compliance data, and
present structured findings.

- Attention to

in reviewing compliances, maintaining risk registers, and tracking audit
actions.

- Discretion Integrity ? Demonstrated
ability to handle sensitive information, whistleblower matters, and
confidential investigations with absolute professionalism.

- Compliance
Awareness ? Working
understanding of compliance frameworks, procurement processes, and
contractual obligations (donor-funded or otherwise).

- Written
Communication ? Strong ability to produce clear, concise compliance
reports, investigation summaries, and policy communications.

- Stakeholder
Coordination ? Comfort
in working across functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Poject teams) and
engaging with senior management.

- Ownership Initiative ? Willingness
to take responsibility for deliverables and proactively identify gaps or
risks without waiting to be directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE

- 2-5 years of
relevant experience in compliance, risk management, operations,
governance, internal controls, internal audit, business operations or
related functions.

- Graduate or
postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Public
Policy, Operations, Management or a related field.
