Role & responsibilities Financial Reporting:

- Lead the periodic closure of books and ensure timely submission of financial results to global finance for consolidation.

- Conduct detailed analysis of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements; highlight key variances with explicit explanations to global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the BPO partner (Accenture) on accounting and reporting matters, providing guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Lead preparation of statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures, with support from the BPO team.

Treasury Management:

- Review and approve domestic, import, and statutory payment proposals prepared by the BPO team.
- Monitor daily cash positions and make informed decisions regarding investments, borrowings, and liquidity management.

Strategic & Corporate Projects:

- Partner with global finance on organizational restructuring, cash pooling, and other strategic initiatives.
- Drive finance leadership in corporate-level projects such as Supplier Financing and Overseas Direct Investments for global acquisitions.
- Provide financial expertise and insights to support special corporate projects.

Audit & Governance:





- Ensure timely completion of local statutory audits and support group-level audits.
- Conduct self-assessments of internal controls and coordinate with internal auditors for smooth execution of audits.
- Support cost audit, tax audit, transfer pricing, and GST audit processes by providing financial data and insights to relevant teams.
- Assist compliance teams with annual regulatory filings such as DTP3, FLA returns, and XBRL submissions.

Profile

- Qualification Chartered Accountant with experience on Financial Reporting, Treasury, Strategic Projects, M&A; & Governance
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in relevant industry and profiles. Mix of Big 4 & Industry Experience preferred.
- Working Knowledge of SAP is a must
- Working Knowledge of IFRS, Ind AS, & Indian GAAP is essential
- Work experience in MNC companies in similar industries will be preferred. (Chemical / Textile Chemical companies)
- Good communication skill Excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
