Job Description and Duties Senior Associate Business Operations, NIPL Reports to: Incharge, Business Operations, NIPL Job Responsibilities:
- UPI and Rupay Operations: Handle day-to-day Clearing and Settlement operations of UPI and Rupay payment systems. Including managing settlement payment to International Partners.
- Transaction Processing: Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Working with Banks, International Partners and TPAP on Declines and working towards reducing the declines % through close coordination with each stakeholder.
- Payment System Maintenance: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth maintenance and upgrade of payment systems, including UPI and Rupay.
- Process Compliance: Ensure all processes are followed in compliance with regulatory requirements and all processes are followed in line with the approved and documented process and internal policies.
- Data Analytics and Reporting: Create data analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations on payment system performance, transaction volumes, and customer behavior. Create reports for onwards reporting regulators and senior management.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and finance, to provide payment system insights and recommendations.
Also communicate with external stakeholders including International Partner, TPAPs Banks at a regular frequency.
- UPI and Rupay Specific: Develop and implement strategies to optimize UPI and Rupay transaction volumes, customer acquisition, and merchant acquisition.
Skills Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in payment systems, banking, or a related field.
3. Skills:
- Proficiency in payment systems, including UPI and Rupay.
- Strong understanding of transaction processing, payment system maintenance, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to payment systems and data security.
- Experience with data analytics tools and reporting.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
