Reporting to: Manager (or Lead Engineer), TSE Pre-Sales

Role Description:

- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals in response to assigned RFQs as per scope defined by manager
- Represent the company in customer interactions as a subject-matter expert and provide valuable technical insights/recommendations on telecommunication and security systems
- This role is a customer facing role which involves understanding the customers functional requirements, analysing their existing infrastructure, understanding the issues faced by them and proposing the right solution based on a range of existing and new products

Responsibility:

- Undertaking responsibility to provide innovative, technically compliant and cost-effective technical proposals for assigned RFQ scope
- Understanding upcoming project needs of customers and explain possible designs and solutions
- Reviewing tender specifications and seek proper technical clarifications for building accurate solutions and architectures
- Preparing technical submission with descriptive write-ups, bills of quantities, drawings and design calculations
- Answering technical queries raised by customers on submitted proposals
- Being aware and up to date with new technologies and products in the business segments of the company
- Interacting with vendors to build sound and competitive solutions from available product options in the market
- Planning and regularly reporting progress of the assigned work with the aim of timely submission of proposals
- Continuously enhance knowledge on relevant technology guidelines and standards through self-learning and structured trainings
- Training of new engineers
- Providing liaison between TSE and BDS to ensure all technical deliverables are met
- Interacting with cross functional development teams to provide end to end technical support to meet business goals
- Maintaining and enhancing QMS processes and policies
- Ensuring adherence to and implementation of HSE policies.

Requirements:

Education:

B.E.



/ M.E. (Electronics & Telecommunication) or hold any other equivalent qualification from a reputed University/ Institute

Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

The candidate shall have a sound foundation in engineering and scientific concepts and well versed with numerical calculations using spreadsheets. The candidate shall be competent in designing and architecting multi-system solutions for power, energy, smart city and mission-critical sectors in the various systems including but not limited to:

Mandatory :-

- Optical fiber based transmission systems such as
- Ethernet and IP network architecture, products (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), protocols and security
- Telephony
- Security and surveillance equipment such as CCTV, Access Control Systems,
- PAGA
- Racking and Structured Cable Systems

Added advantage

- UPS and Battery Systems
- Video-conferencing solutions
- Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, PSIM solutions
- DWDM, Packet Optical Transport, SDH and OTN
- Radio Systems such as Tetra Networks, PtP and PtMP, UHF, VHF and Microwave
- Siren Systems

Knowledge of simulation software such as SoundPlan, Evac, ATDI, IBWave, Ekahau Pro, etc. is desirable.
