- The Patent Agent supports the protection and management of intellectual property by preparing, filing, and prosecuting patent applications
- The role involves working closely with inventors, researchers, engineers, and legal teams to identify patentable inventions and develop effective patent strategies

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and file patent applications
- Conduct patentability, prior art, and freedom-to-operate searches
- Manage patent prosecution before patent offices
- Analyze inventions and prepare technical disclosures
- Support patent portfolio development and maintenance
- Monitor competitor patents and technology trends
- Coordinate with inventors, R&D; teams, and external counsel
- Assist with IP due diligence and patent landscape analyses

Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Qualified/registered Patent Agent (as applicable in the jurisdiction)
- Experience in patent drafting and prosecution
- Robust technical writing and analytical skills
