Role Description The Veterinary Pathologist will work on-site at our Delhi, India laboratory in a full-time capacity. This role involves performing diagnostic evaluations on animal tissue, blood, and other samples, including gross and microscopic examinations for disease identification.

The Veterinary

Pathologist will interpret laboratory findings, prepare explicit and accurate reports, and communicate results and diagnostic insights to veterinarians and other animal health professionals.



Daily responsibilities include collaborating with laboratory teams to maintain quality standards, participating in case discussions, and supporting continuous improvement in diagnostic protocols. The role also involves adhering to laboratory safety guidelines, contributing to quality assurance activities, and staying current with advances in veterinary pathology and laboratory medicine.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Pathology and Veterinary Medicine, with the ability to accurately diagnose and interpret disease processes.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, processing, and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Expertise in Histology and Laboratory Medicine, including tissue preparation, staining techniques, and interpretation of histopathological findings.
- MVSc : Veterinary Pathology
- Experience in a diagnostic or research laboratory setting, preferably in veterinary or comparative pathology.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and scientific rigor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical information clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, laboratory accreditation standards, and relevant regulatory requirements is an asset.
