Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Soft Skill Trainers at the DDU-GKY Center in Kaushambi, U.P., with work location in Prayagraj. The trainer will conduct classroom sessions on soft skills, life skills, and workplace readiness for youth enrolled under DDU-GKY programs. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, preparing training materials, presentations, and activities, and assessing learner progress through tests, assignments, and feedback.





The role involves mentoring learners on communication, teamwork, time management, and personal grooming, as well as maintaining training records, coordinating with center staff, and participating in review meetings. Trainers are expected to create an inclusive learning environment, support placement readiness, and align training content with project and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Soft Skills and Life Skills expertise, including interpersonal skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and skilled etiquette.
- Candidates should possess solid Training & Development skills, including session planning, facilitation, learner engagement, and use of training aids.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and Hindi, and the ability to address diverse learner groups.
- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills, including the ability to deliver structured content, use visual aids, and manage classroom discussions.
- Relevant experience as a soft skill trainer, faculty, or counselor in skill development or vocational training projects (DDU-GKY or similar) is preferred.
- Minimum graduate degree in any discipline; certifications in soft skills, training, or education will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Prayagraj, maintain training documentation, and meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Commitment to learner-centered training, gender-neutral and non-discriminatory practices, and supporting youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
