Job Purpose To supervise, monitor and execute all maintenance activities and modification jobs to maximise availability of equipment by optimum utilisation of resources & maintaining safety standards.

Job Context & Major Challenges Vikram Cement is located at Jawad in Madhya Pradesh. It has 3 operating lines with the total installed capacity of 2.5 Million ton per annum which has been further expanded to 3.0 million ton per annum. Main equipment s for Line No.- 1 & Line No.- 2 was supplied by M/s KHD Humboldt Wedag Ltd., Germany, M/s Loesche & for Line No.- 3 by M/s Krupp Polysius, Germany with Polycom Technology in Pre grinding circuit & high efficiency separator in Raw Mill.

The jobholder is responsible for supervision, monitoring and execution of maintenance activities in the shift and modification jobs to maximise availability of equipment.

Supervise, monitor and execute the mechanical maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment availability for achieving production targets. - Daily coordination and discussion for gain-loss and stoppages.

- Execute and monitor PM & Engr. Level Maintenance schedule for abnormalities and their elimination.
- Identify root cause of failures, repeated breakdown and act for their elimination by using our resources.
- Supervise and execution of jobs in Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, breakdown maintenance,



and shutdown maintenance by using our resources.

KRA2 :Cost Control: Monitor and analyze maintenance expenses to operate in budgeted norms. - Compare actual expenses against budget and take action to reduce variance.
- Analyze Life value analysis of costly spares to enhance their life.
- Maximum use of in-house resources for fabrication.
- Carry Out Pareto Analysis monthly for the consumption of spares and take necessary action to reduce the consumption.
- Optimum utilization of man money and material.

KRA3 Improvement /Modifications Identify the areas for improvement of performance, prepare improvement /Modifications proposals and supervise its execution for continuous improvement in Productivity/ Reliability of equipment. Identification of focus area and collect related data.

Analyze data and feasibility study (Cost benefit analysis).

Preparation of Schemes for modification / changes.

Execution of the final scheme after approval.

KRA4 System Implementation Monitor quality systems (ISO, EMS, TPM, OHSAS) in the section through the involvement of people for improving Plant Performance as per Quality / Environmental Standards. - Monitor daily Jishu-Hozen and Fuguais/ abnormality registration and corrective actions.

- Execution of safety and pollution control measures.
- Schedule checks for hoist / pressure vessels / chain pulley block as per safety standards.
- Preparation and execution of Kaizen Schemes.
- Develop One-Point Lesson.

KRA5 Spare Parts Management Monitor and control the inventory of spare parts of section to keep the inventory at optimum levels and reduce inventory costs. - Review stock position (ideal/min-max levels) and Initiate action for procurement of spares.

- Check feasibility of repair / reconditioning to enhance life.
- Analyze UN-lifted / surplus / obsolete / nonmoving item and lead time / consumption to optimize inventory.
- Standardization of spares in the section.
