Role Overview The Training Manager will be responsible for training, upskilling, and improving the service quality of Makeup, Hairstyling, and Saree Draping professionals across assigned cities/regions.

This is a 0-1 category-building role with strong growth potential, requiring a mature and hands-on trainer who can independently build training modules, coach professionals, and establish strong quality standards. The role requires strong ownership, execution capability, and willingness to travel across cities to drive training and partner performance on ground.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Upskilling

- Conduct onboarding, retraining, and upskilling sessions for service professionals.
- Build and continuously improve training modules, SOPs, assessments, and certification frameworks.
- Train partners on new SKUs, techniques, products, hygiene, and customer handling.
- Conduct hands-on demonstrations, skill assessments, refresher trainings, and certifications.

Quality & Performance Improvement

- Identify skill gaps through audits, ratings, NPS, and partner performance.
- Coach professionals to improve service quality, customer experience, and partner performance.
- Track post-training improvement and ensure adherence to defined service standards.

Training Content & Kit Readiness

- Create structured training modules for Makeup, Hairstyling, and Saree Draping.
- Work with Category/Product Business teams to finalize upskilling kits and required products.
- Train professionals on correct product usage, application techniques, and kit hygiene.

Partner & Stakeholder Management

- Build robust relationships with service professionals and support their learning journey.
- Conduct partner FGDs and capture on-ground feedback.
- Coordinate with Category, City, Operations, and Product Business teams for training execution.
- Travel across assigned cities/regions to run trainings, audits, and partner interventions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

- 4+ years of experience in makeup,



hairstyling, beauty training, academy training, or related beauty services.
- Prior experience as a Makeup Trainer, Beauty Trainer, Academy Trainer, or Senior Makeup Artist with training responsibilities preferred.
- Experience with beauty academies, makeup studios, salon chains, or bridal studios will be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in Nail Studio services will be an added advantage.

Technical Expertise

Strong hands-on knowledge of:

- Natural, Party, HD, Premium/Luxury, and Occasion Makeup
- Base preparation, foundation matching, contouring, eye makeup, and finishing
- Classic and advanced hairstyling - curls, waves, buns, braids, updos, and blow-dry
- Hair extensions, styling tools, and finishing techniques
- Classic and occasion-based saree draping
- Pleating, pinning, fabric handling, fall management, and dupatta draping
- Hygiene, sanitization, kit maintenance, and product handling

Certifications Preferred

Candidates with professional beauty certifications will be preferred, such as:

- Professional Makeup / Hairstyling Certification
- Diploma or Certification in Makeup, Hair, Cosmetology, or Beauty
- Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC;) Certification
- Certification from reputed beauty academies such as Lakme Academy, VLCC, LTA, Makeup Studio, or equivalent

Skills Required

- Strong communication, coaching, and people management skills
- Excellent hands-on demonstration ability with a strong eye for quality and detailing
- Ability to manage multiple training batches and stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset; execution-focused and comfortable operating independently
- Comfortable with audits, feedback, and performance tracking
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned cities/regions
