Job Title: Territory Sales Manager/Executive

Job Summary The Territory Sales Manager/Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and customer engagement within the assigned territory for the companys cardiology-focused medical device portfolio. This role involves managing key accounts, building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the territory.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities in hospitals and cardiac centres.
- Expand market share for cardiology products through strategic positioning.

2. Key Account Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with cardiologists, cardiac surge MD Physicians and hospital procurement teams.
- Manage key institutional accounts and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Support tender participation and institutional sales processes.

3. Product Promotion & Clinical Support

- Promote the companys cardiology devices through product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical discussions.
- Provide on-site support during procedures where required (e.g., cath lab cases).
- Organize CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), workshops, and product training sessions.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and territory insights.
- Gather customer feedback and share inputs with marketing and product teams.

Distribution & Channel Management

- Appoint and manage distributors (if applicable).
- Ensure product availability, inventory control, and timely delivery.
- Maintain effective coordination with supply chain and logistics teams.

6. Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation for sales activities, tenders, and contracts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Achievement of sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual)
- Market share growth in assigned territory
- Number of new accounts acquired
- Customer retention and satisfaction levels
- Product penetration in key accounts.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–6 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably in cardiology (e.g. cardiology imaging systems).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a healthcare workplace.
