Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Export Manager with 10+ years of experience in international trade, export operations, and business coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in export documentation, logistics, international shipping, regulatory compliance, and customer relationship management. Experience in the pharmaceutical, packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end export operations from order receipt to final shipment.
- Handle export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Shipping Bill, LC documents, and other statutory documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, airlines, banks, and government authorities for smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, FEMA, GST, IEC, and other export regulations.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely dispatch.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics or customs-related issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors, and overseas agents.
- Coordinate with banks for Letter of Credit (LC), advance payments, export finance, and document negotiation.
- Prepare export MIS reports, shipment trackers, sales reports, and documentation records.
- Handle export claims, insurance matters, and customer complaints professionally.




- Support international business development activities and coordinate participation in trade fairs when required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of Export Documentation and International Trade.
- Hands-on experience in LC Documentation, UCP 600, Incoterms, and International Shipping.
- Knowledge of Customs, DGFT, FEMA, GST, and RBI export guidelines.
- Experience in freight management and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously under strict timelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and export documentation software.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Export-Import Management or International Trade will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

- 10 15 years of experience in export operations.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Manufacturing, Chemicals, or FMCG industries preferred.
- Exposure to exports across Africa, Middle East, Europe, or Asian markets will be an advantage.
