Role & responsibilities

- Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and effective functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the store team to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor employee productivity and performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving customer queries and complaints promptly.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate inventory replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product display, and store cleanliness as per company standards.
- Monitor billing, cash handling, and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams for timely stock movement.
- Monitor shrinkage, wastage, and implement loss prevention measures.




- Train new employees on store operations, customer service, and company procedures.
- Ensure all equipment and store assets are maintained and functioning properly.
- Drive sales by achieving store KPIs, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and shift schedules for the store team.
- Support store opening, closing, and operational audits.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (if applicable to grocery/retail operations).
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues in coordination with the Store Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in retail, grocery, supermarket, or quick-commerce operations.
- Experience in team handling and store operations is preferred.
