Role Description The Technical Officer Engg. (Honorary) is a volunteer, remote role focused on supporting the technical and operational aspects of Finessefleet Foundation’s educational initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities may include providing technical support for online learning platforms, troubleshooting user issues, and helping maintain digital infrastructure used by students and educators. The role may involve coordinating with program teams to ensure that learning tools and systems run smoothly, documenting technical processes, and recommending improvements to enhance user experience and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret technical issues, analyze system performance, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to respond to queries, guide users through technical steps, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support skills to diagnose problems, provide solutions for software and platform issues, and assist in system configuration.
- Candidates should possess relevant Laboratory Skills or technical engineering exposure, especially in handling tools, processes, or systems aligned with educational technology, where applicable.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with online learning platforms, basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and a demonstrated interest in education and social impact.
- A background in engineering, information technology, or a related field (completed or in progress) is advantageous but not mandatory; volunteers from diverse academic and qualified backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
