Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Fashion Design Intern to join our design team in Surat. This is a hands-on, on-site internship suited for someone who wants practical exposure to the complete fashion design and product development process.

You will work closely with the design team across research, concept development, garment development, sampling, fittings, and production coordination.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Researching current fashion, colour, silhouette, fabric, and trend directions
- Developing mood boards, concept boards, and collection directions
- Assisting with garment sketches and design development
- Creating basic technical drawings / flat sketches
- Assisting with fabric, trim, and material sourcing
- Understanding fabric behaviour, garment construction, and finishing
- Supporting sample development and communicating design requirements
- Coordinating with sampling teams, tailors, vendors, and production teams
- Assisting during fittings and making design-related adjustments
- Checking samples for construction, fit, finishing,



and overall appearance
- Supporting the team in maintaining design documentation
- Preparing presentation material, design boards, and lookbook-related assets
- Assisting with other day-to-day design requirements as the collection develops

What We’re Looking For

- Recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field
- Strong understanding of fashion, silhouettes, fabrics, and garment construction
- Positive fashion styling and visual sense
- Basic understanding of textiles and sewing
- Ability to sketch and communicate design ideas clearly
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned work
- Portfolio or academic/project work demonstrating your design ability is preferred

Internship DetailsLocation: Surat, Gujarat

Work Mode: On-site

Stipend: ₹5,000–₹10,000 per month

Opportunity: Potential to be considered for a full-time role based on performance.
