Team Lead – Web Design & Frontend Development (AI-Driven)

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Team Lead – Web Design & Development who can manage a team of designers and developers while actively contributing to projects.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and process management, with a strong focus on AI-driven workflows and productivity optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web designers and developers
- Assign tasks based on skills, priorities, and deadlines
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback
- Ensure team productivity and accountability

Project Management:
- Break down projects into actionable tasks and timelines
- Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery
- Identify bottlenecks and resolve execution challenges
- Coordinate between design, development, and management teams

Technical Oversight:
- Review and approve website designs and frontend development
- Ensure adherence to best practices in:

o UI/UX o Performance optimization o ADA compliance
- Guide team members on technical improvements

AI Workflow Implementation:
- Define and implement AI-based workflows for:

o Design generation o Code optimization o Content creation
- Train team members on effective use of AI tools and prompt writing

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure high-quality output across all projects
- Maintain standards for:





o Pixel-perfect design o Website speed and responsiveness o SEO-friendly structure
- Perform final QA before project delivery

Communication:
- Communicate with clients (if required) to understand requirements
- Translate business needs into execution plans
- Report project updates to management

Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Advanced experience with WordPress and Shopify
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles
- Proven experience in team management and leadership
- Experience with project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Jira, etc.)
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO basics
- Strong understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflow optimization

Preferred / Bonus Skills:
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Familiarity with modern frameworks (React, Web flow, etc.)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
