Role Description

This is a full time role. You will be responsible for driving the mechanical engineering, structural integrity, and design compliance of atmospheric and low-pressure static storage assets. You will manage the complete engineering lifecycle for above-ground storage tanks (ASTs)—including shell plate sizing, fixed/floating roof selection, nozzle configurations, foundation loading parameters, conducting wind, seismic, and internal/external pressure load calculations, reviewing vendor fabrication drawings, and specifying material, lining, and corrosion protection requirements.





You will be collaborating with cross-discipline stakeholders to ensure Tank Design deliverables align strictly with project schedules, safety codes, and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

- BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years work experience working on Tank Design Engineering design. Experience in designing of Petroleum storage tanks is a must.
- Additional experience with designing of pressure vessels / LPG bullets and LPG spheres will be given preference.
- In-depth understanding of API 650, API 620, API 653, and ASME Section VIII standards.
- Familiarity with storage terminal layouts, seal systems, and foundation load requirements.
- Proficiency with tools like - Cadem Tank Software, Plant3D / AutoCAD Plant 3D, STAAD Pro. Advanced / STAAD Pro, ETABS ADINA.
