The Accounting Assistant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries,
coordinating with various departments, particularly factory/plants, for invoice processing, and managing daily bank reconciliation. The role also involves evaluating and reconciling diverse financial operations, organizing accounting documents, and providing daily reports to the Head of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with various departments, including factory/plants, to ensure invoices are processed and approved correctly.
Accurately report and reconcile daily bank entries, ensuring all discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Evaluate and reconcile financial operations by inspecting and verifying source documents, including invoices and expense vouchers, to ensure commitments are met and accurate records are maintained.
Organize and maintain source documents, files,
and other accounting-related information in an orderly and accessible manner.
Provide daily financial reports to the Head of Finance, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance to support the overall financial operations of the company.
Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of TDS and GST regulations.
Familiarity with Microsoft ERP, SAP, or other accounting software is an advantage.
Experience working in a production company is preferred.

The Accounting Assistant's KRAs include timely and accurate financial entries, coordinating invoice processing with departments, managing daily bank reconciliations, and verifying and organizing financial documents. The role also involves daily reporting to the Head of Finance and supporting additional tasks as needed.
