Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end installation of rooftop solar PV systems (mounting structure assembly, module placement, stringing, and inverter connections) for residential and commercial facilities.
- Conduct site assessments, panel layout reviews, and accurate cable routing as per engineering drawings.
- Handle AC/DC wiring, earthing/grounding connections, DB box installation, and protective system integration.
- Perform system testing, voltage checks,
pre-commissioning inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety standards, high-altitude work protocols (harnesses, safety nets), and local electrical codes.
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in rooftop PV solar installations.
- Comfort working at heights on various roof types (tin shed, RCC, tiled).
- Hands-on expertise with hand/power tools, electrical testing meters (multimeters, megger), and crimping tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for regional project sites.
