Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Test Engineer located in Mylapore.

The Software Test

Engineer will design, create, and maintain test cases and test plans based on functional and technical requirements. The role involves executing manual and automated tests, identifying defects, reproducing issues,



and collaborating with software development teams to ensure timely resolution.

The Software Test

Engineer will participate in reviews of requirements and designs, contribute to test strategy and coverage, and help improve testing processes and tools. The role also includes preparing test reports, tracking quality metrics, and supporting releases to ensure software meets performance, reliability, and security standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Software Testing, Testing, and Test Execution, with experience applying structured test methodologies.
- Ability to design, document, and maintain comprehensive Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Basic understanding of Software Development concepts and life cycle, and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and familiarity with automation frameworks is beneficial.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
