Position: Site Security In-Charge

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the complete security operations of the project site.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage security guards across all entry/exit points and vulnerable areas.
- Maintain strict access control for employees, labourers, contractors, vendors, visitors, and vehicles.
- Monitor movement of construction materials, equipment, machinery, tools, and other assets entering and leaving the site.
- Ensure proper gate-pass procedures and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing materials and vehicles.
- Conduct regular security rounds and inspections of the entire project site.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance and immediately report suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Prevent theft, unauthorized access, pilferage, trespassing, and damage to company/property assets.
- Coordinate with project management, administration, contractors, and local police/security authorities when required.
- Prepare daily security reports covering incidents, manpower deployment, visitor movement, and material movement.
- Ensure proper security arrangements during night shifts, holidays, and non-working hours.
- Handle emergency situations, accidents, fire incidents, disputes, and other security-related issues.
- Brief and train security guards regarding site security procedures,



discipline, emergency response, and reporting protocols.
- Ensure all security personnel are properly uniformed, disciplined, and deployed as per the approved roster.
- Investigate and report any security incident, theft, loss, misconduct, or violation of site rules.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and ensure compliance with site security policies.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.

Candidate Profile:
- Ex-Army / Ex-Defence personnel preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in security management, preferably at construction/real estate project sites.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good knowledge of access control, gate-pass systems, material movement, and site surveillance.
- Physically fit, alert, disciplined, and capable of handling emergency situations.
- Positive communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage security operations independently, including 24×7 shift-based operations.
- Experience in handling large security teams will be an added advantage.
