Role Description The Site Reliability Engineer Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Aluva. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems by designing and implementing robust infrastructure and monitoring solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, optimizing system performance, and automating operational tasks. The specialist will collaborate with software development teams to improve application reliability, define service-level objectives, and implement best practices for deployment, observability, and incident response.



The role also involves maintaining documentation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Strong Site Reliability Engineering skills, including reliability design, observability, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long-term fixes.
- Experience in Software Development with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid System Administration skills across Linux/Unix or Windows environments, including monitoring, patching, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure concepts such as cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with SRE tools and practices (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, logging systems, incident management platforms) is highly beneficial.
