Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Virtual Agent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, customizing, integrating, and supporting ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements and improve operational efficiency and user experience.

Candidates with robust experience in HRSD, Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, integrations, scripting, and custom application development are especially preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and solutions based on business requirements.
2. Work extensively across ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Virtual Agent.
3. Develop custom solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI Actions, and custom applications.
4. Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server, and other integration technologies.
5. Gather and analyze requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams.
6. Troubleshoot, test, debug, and resolve issues related to ServiceNow configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
7. Perform code reviews and ensure solutions follow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and platform guidelines.
8. Maintain and support existing ServiceNow implementations, including performance optimization, enhancements, and production issue resolution.
9. Customize and extend the ServiceNow Service Portal, including widgets, custom pages, and UI components, to enhance user experience.

Stay current with ServiceNow platform capabilities, releases, and best practices and apply relevant features to existing and new solutions.

Technical Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, customization, scripting, and integrations.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and Virtual Agent.
- Hands-on experience with HRSD is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Discovery and/or Service Graph Connectors.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting, including:
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- Script Includes
- UI Actions
- Glide APIs
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Studio and custom application development.
- Experience developing and customizing ServiceNow Service Portal, including widgets, pages, and UI design.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and JSON.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ACLs, roles, and ServiceNow security best practices.
- Experience with workflows, Flow Designer, automation, and platform configuration.
- Ability to analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver scalable solutions.

Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, or CIS-HRSD.
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, releases, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a hands-on ServiceNow professional who can independently develop and support enterprise-grade solutions, with particular strength in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Virtual Agent, Discovery/Service Graph, scripting, and integrations. Shift: 1:30 PM – 11:30 PM
