Role Description The Service Engineer / Technician role is a full-time, in office position based in the Pune Division. In this role, the team member will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of material handling equipment, hydraulic products, overhead maintenance equipment, and scaffolding systems at customer locations.

Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, carrying out troubleshooting and field service activities, and providing timely technical support to ensure equipment uptime and safety. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers and internal teams, preparing service reports, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with the warehouse and sales teams for spare parts and follow-up visits.

The Service

Engineer / Technician is expected to maintain a professional attitude during site visits and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Mechanical/Electrical Graduate/Diploma Engineer/ITI Trained
2. Requisite experience:



4-5 years/2-3 years/3-6 years respectively
3. Quickly learn and acquire industry and product knowledge
4. Soft Skills: Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, adaptability to changing environments, and a customer-centric approach.
5. Understanding of industry-specific regulations, quality standards, and best practices in after-sales service management.
6. Coordinate with the Marketing team for better results
7. Understand and resolve equipment snags etc. quickly and effectively – at customer site or our factory
8. Ensure equipment uptime and performance to the satisfaction of customer
9. Uphold company standards, reputation and image when in the field
10. Ensure punctuality, adherence to safety protocols when working
11. Apply Root Cause Analysis method in case of repeated complaints
12. Enhance revenue through sale of spare parts and AMC etc
13. Formulate a growth strategy / business development strategy
14. Provide appropriate and quick feedback to company
15. Clear and decisive communication with customers
16. Drive and self-motivation are must
17. Use formats to report Service Calls etc.
18. Coordinate with other functions/departments to ensure customer satisfaction
19. Provide requisite training to operators, maintenance persons at customer site
