Role Overview

We are looking for a Server Support Engineer to join our Uttar Pradesh operations team based in Lucknow. This role is critical to ensuring the uptime, security, and performance of the server infrastructure that powers our emergency call handling, dispatch, and ambulance tracking systems. Since delays in system availability can directly impact emergency response times and lives saved, this position demands a high sense of responsibility and readiness for a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers supporting Emergency Response Center operations, call center applications, and dispatch systems.
- Monitor server health, performance, and uptime for 24x7 critical operations; respond promptly to incidents to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular backups,



patching, and disaster recovery drills to safeguard emergency data and call records.
- Manage user access, server security, and compliance with data protection protocols for sensitive medical and emergency data.
- Troubleshoot hardware, OS, network, and application-level issues on production servers.
- Coordinate with the network team to maintain connectivity between the Emergency Response Center, ambulance GPS/tracking systems, and helpline call center infrastructure.
- Support database servers used for call logging, ambulance dispatch records, and MIS reporting.
- Maintain documentation of server configurations, SOPs, and incident logs.
- Provide on-call support during nights/weekends as this is a 24x7 emergency operations environment.
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC, hardware replacement, and escalations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 26 years of hands-on experience in server administration/support (Windows Server, Linux).
- Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with database servers (SQL Server/MySQL) preferred.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN) is a plus.
- Experience in a call center, BPO, or 24x7 critical operations environment is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure during system outages.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and be on-call for emergencies.
