About R&D;:

The R&D; organization at ANSR MedTech is being built to support the development, testing, and long-term sustainment of complex, regulated products used at global scale.

This team plays a critical role in engineering excellence, product quality, and operational reliability, working closely with global R&D; leaders to deliver against well-defined technical standards, quality systems, and product outcomes.

Unlike a traditional offshore or support model, R&D; in India is designed to take on meaningful ownership across the product lifecycle, particularly in areas where scale, focus, and execution discipline are essential.

How the R&D; Team Operates:

- Teams are based in India and embedded in day-to-day delivery, not isolated support functions.
- Technical direction, quality standards, and product outcomes are globally aligned, with strong local execution and accountability.
- The organization is built under a Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model with ANSR, with responsibilities expanding as the site matures.
- Success is measured by engineering quality, predictable delivery, adherence to quality systems, reduced defects over time, and strong collaboration with global R&D; teams.

Position Summary:

ANSR MedTech is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to support cloud platform and API test automation, quality engineering, and validation activities across our cloud platform and digital health ecosystem. This role will develop and maintain automated tests, validate end-to-end system behavior, support reliability testing, and collaborate with global engineering, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve release quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for APIs, microservices, integrations, and end-to-end cloud workflows, business processes.
- Create and update test cases, test data, test scripts, and test execution results for functional, regression, integration, and reliability testing.
- Analyze requirements and design documents to identify test scenarios, coverage needs, and validation gaps.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Support automation framework enhancements and adoption of test engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with teams to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and release quality.
- Leverage cloud and observability tools to support validation, troubleshooting, and test analysis.
- Debug test failures using logs, API responses, monitoring data, and defect tracking tools.
- Convert defects, production issues, and incident learnings into repeatable automated regression coverage.
- Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, SRE, Product,



and global teams to support release readiness.
- Maintain clear documentation in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, and test management systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect triage, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software test automation, QA automation, or software quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with API automation using Python or Java; Python preferred.
- Experience working with AWS cloud services and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, cloud-based applications, or data integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, test lifecycle, Agile methodologies, defect management, and regression testing.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design test coverage, execute tests, document results, and communicate issues clearly.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with monitoring or observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or similar.
- Experience with automation frameworks, test data management, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Experience with end-to-end test automation frameworks and CI/CD-driven quality engineering practices.
- Exposure to regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences is a plus.
- Familiarity with requirements traceability, test evidence, and quality system documentation is preferred.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated, GxP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or similar regulated development environments.
