We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating nursing activities, and supporting the smooth functioning of the clinical department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Assess patients' conditions and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during consultations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Supervise and guide junior nursing staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with infection-control practices, hospital policies, and patient-safety standards.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, medications, and care instructions.
- Ensure proper handover and continuity of patient care.
- Maintain a professional and supportive environment within the nursing team.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing registration/license as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience as a Staff Nurse; senior-level experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Robust leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills.
