Senior Software Engineer (47 Years Experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with solid expertise in SQL, ETL processes, Power BI, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), along with solid knowledge of the US Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate should also have effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and interact with clients when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making.
- Work with cloud-based data architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Analyze and work with US healthcare datasets (claims, providers, eligibility, etc.).
- Ensure high data quality, governance, and compliance standards.
- Participate in client interactions, including requirement gathering, discussions, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience:



4–7 years in software engineering / data engineering roles.
- Strong SQL Expertise: Advanced querying, performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.
- ETL Experience: Hands-on in developing ETL pipelines (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or cloud-native tools like Azure Data Factory / AWS Glue).
- Power BI (PBI): Strong experience in dashboards, DAX, and data visualization.
- Cloud Platforms (MANDATORY): Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, including data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, Redshift, etc.).
- US Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data models and workflows.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and clients.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD codes, etc.)
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Databricks, etc.)
- Scripting experience (Python, Shell, etc.) for data processing
- Exposure to data governance and security standards
