Role Description

Senior SAP GTS Specialist role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a company's international trade and customs operations. Senior SAP GTS Specialist professional will handle daily incidents, manage system integration with ECC or S/4HANA, and ensure legal compliance for import-export functions, sanctions screening, and customs declarations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support SAP GTS processes including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, Preference Processing, SPL Screening, Embargo Checks, and integration with ECC logistics processes




- Provide L1/ L2/L3 production support for SAP ECC and S/4HANA applications
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents within SLA
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
- Handle Service Requests and standard changes
- Deliver minor enhancements and configuration updates
- Support deployment activities and transport management
- Coordinate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams
- Participate in on-call support during business-critical periods
- Ensure compliance with ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management processes
- Work with monitoring tools and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira

Required Qualifications and Skill-Set

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant fields
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in support and configuration of SAP GTS
- Deep knowledge in GTS Compliance Management
- Strong hands-on experience with GTS Customs Management
- Experience integrating GTS processes within an SAP ECC and S/4HANA system
- Prior experience with global customs
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA RISE is good to have
- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Experience working in global, cross-functional teams, solid track record in cross-functional execution and measurable outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work in Shifts supporting Multiple Regional Support
