Role Overview The Senior SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) Consultant will work with customers and manufacturing stakeholders to design, configure and deliver SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions.

The role requires strong knowledge of manufacturing execution processes and SAP Digital Manufacturing, with the ability to independently own functional workstreams, conduct customer workshops, troubleshoot issues and mentor other consultants.

Candidates with a strong background in SAP ME, MII or other Manufacturing Execution / MOM solutions who are moving into or have exposure to SAP Digital Manufacturing are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP Digital Manufacturing solution design and implementation activities across the project lifecycle.
- Conduct customer workshops and translate manufacturing requirements into practical DMC solutions.




- Configure and support DMC capabilities including Production Operator Dashboards (POD), Production Process Designer (PPD), production execution, data collection and related manufacturing processes.
- Work with S/4HANA and technical teams on integration, master data, production orders and confirmations.
- Support functional and integration testing, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
- Analyze and resolve functional and system issues across DMC and manufacturing execution processes.
- Independently own assigned workstreams and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants and contribute to team capability development.
- Support customer demonstrations, solutioning, pre-sales and estimation activities.
- Contribute to reusable assets, implementation methodologies and growth of the Digital Manufacturing practice.

Job Requirements

Must-have

- 6–10 years of experience in SAP, manufacturing execution or related manufacturing technology.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing / Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) or strong relevant experience in SAP manufacturing execution solutions such as SAP ME/MII/MOM.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
- Hands-on experience with core DMC capabilities such as POD, PPD, production execution and data collection.




- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective manufacturing solutions.
- Ability to independently work with customers, conduct workshops and own functional workstreams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments is preferred.

Nice-to-have

- Experience delivering an end-to-end SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation.
- Experience with machine and shop-floor integration, including SAP Production Connector/PCo, OPC-UA, MQTT or similar technologies.
- Experience with UI5/JavaScript, POD plugins or DMC extensions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration/CPI, APIs, OData or REST services.
- Experience integrating DMC with SAP S/4HANA and other manufacturing systems.
- Previous experience with SAP ME, MII, MOM or other MES platforms.
- SAP Digital Manufacturing certification.
