Key Responsibilities
- Perform and lead pipe stress analysis using industry-standard tools such as CAESAR II / AutoPIPE.
- Review P&IDs;, piping layouts, isometrics, and support drawings for accurate stress analysis.
- Conduct stress and flexibility analysis for critical piping systems, including high-temperature, high-pressure, vibration-sensitive, and rotating equipment lines.
- Perform flexibility analysis and recommend suitable pipe supports and restraint arrangements.
- Prepare stress reports, load summaries, support recommendations, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Structural, and Project Engineering teams to develop effective design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, API, ASTM, and other international codes and standards.
- Handle stress-related technical queries during design, construction, commissioning, and modification phases.
- Work independently and manage assigned activities to meet project schedules and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Full time Position: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pipe Stress Analysis.
- Freelance Position:
Minimum 9-10 years of relevant experience in Pipe Stress Analysis can work as per the project.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or related industries.
- Strong hands-on experience in CAESAR II – Mandatory.
- Knowledge of AutoPIPE is an added advantage.
- STAAD.Pro knowledge is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of international piping design codes and standards.
- Ability to review and interpret P&IDs;, piping layouts, isometrics, and support drawings.
- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred for the full-time position.
