Role Overview

As a Senior Manager – Cloud Infrastructure & Operations (Azure), you will lead Odessa's cloud infrastructure strategy, operations, governance, and modernization initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, resiliency, and cost efficiency of Azure-based platforms while partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, Finance, and business stakeholders to support the organization's technology roadmap.

This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership, people management, operational governance, and customer-facing engagement. You will oversee cloud operations, platform reliability, service delivery, SLA adherence, disaster recovery readiness, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives while leading high-performing cloud and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage Azure cloud infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- Drive cloud modernization, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD enablement, and platform standardization initiatives.
- Own service delivery outcomes, including SLA compliance, incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.




- Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), and infrastructure resiliency strategies, including regular testing and governance.
- Manage enterprise infrastructure services across networking, compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, and security domains.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers, handling escalations and ensuring exceptional service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Track and improve key operational metrics such as availability, MTTR, incident response, change success rate, compliance, capacity utilization, and cloud cost optimization.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Present platform health, operational risks, roadmap priorities, and transformation progress to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 12 -15 overall years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT operations , or related technology leadership roles.
- 6+ years of experience leading and managing infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, security, governance, and disaster recovery services.
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments and driving infrastructure transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, SLA management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, cloud governance, compliance, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated customer-facing experience, including stakeholder management, service reviews, escalation management, and vendor governance.
- Experience managing budgets, cloud cost optimization, operational risk, and executive-level communication.
- Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, Administrator, Security Engineer) along with ITIL, PMP, Scrum, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
