Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer with 10-15+ years of hands-on software development experience working on large enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, SQL, and Hibernate, along with a proven ability to navigate and contribute to complex monolithic codebases. This role requires an engineer who is comfortable analyzing existing systems, troubleshooting issues, setting up environments, and driving enhancements across mature enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, maintain, and enhance large-scale enterprise applications with complex and extensive codebases.
- Work effectively within monolithic architectures and understand interdependencies across application components.
- Navigate and troubleshoot legacy systems, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Develop high-quality Java applications with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and implement solutions involving multithreading, concurrency, and enterprise application patterns.
- Work extensively with Spring Framework and Hibernate for application development and database interaction.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database objects.
- Support deployment activities, environment setup, access management, and application configuration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical analysis, and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications





- 10-15+ years of software development experience (15 years preferred, minimum 10 years).
- Proven experience working on large enterprise applications in complex business environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within monolithic applications and navigate codebases exceeding 1 million lines of code.
- Strong expertise in Core Java, including:

- Multithreading

- Concurrency

- Collections Framework

- Performance optimization
- Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Framework.
- Strong practical experience with Hibernate/JPA, including real-world implementation and troubleshooting, beyond theoretical knowledge.
- Robust SQL development and database optimization skills.
- Experience working with Sybase and/or Azure SQL databases.
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Experience with application deployments, environment setup, system configuration, and access management.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting and modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
- Exposure to cloud environments and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience in highly regulated or large-scale corporate environments.
- Technical leadership or mentoring experience.
